The data sets used in these examples will come from the UCI Machine Learning Repository or from the R dataset archive, unless stated otherwise.
Although there are various websites that offer full mathematical explanations of why such techniques will be used, these posts will focus on explaining the specifics of each R code as I feel that this is not explained enough.
